New Family Pictures

We had some new family pictures taken! These were taken on Halloween and Andrew, Adam's brother-in-law was the photographer.

This and That....

Here are some recent pictures of the grandbabies! Ethan is 3 months old now and as you can see, he clearly loves his bumbo. I have been sick - it feels like for a month now. 2 different colds and I'm sick of being sick! Cindy the dog got sick too - she ate something she shouldn't have and got pancreatitis. We are both feeling better and it's a good thing, because there is only the cat left to take care of us! That's right - it's hunting season and I have been left alone to hold down the fort! But all is not lost - Holly is going to save the day and come spend the weekend with me. Okay...I know she will be hanging out with her boy friend the whole time she is here, but it makes me feel better to say she's coming to stay with me! Jill is doing great at BYU and we are all loving football season. Shauna and Adam got moved into their new house. I haven't been over to see them all moved in it yet, and I'm looking forward to it. We will head over for Halloween weekend.

BYU Wins!

We went to the BYU vs. Colorado State game on Steve's birthday (last Saturday). We got to see Jill and we stayed with my cousin Sheralyn Brown and her family. Her son, Braden Brown, is on the BYU team and is a freshman this year. He is #89. Shauna and Adam and Halle and Ethan all came too. We had a great time. Pizza and cheesecake at the Brown's after the game - yummy! I'm getting ready to head to Sun Valley this weekend for the hospital convention. The fall colors are usually so pretty there this time of year! It's a lot of work, but I still enjoy going. Then I get back and Steve leaves to go hunting. I hope Shauna comes to visit me, so I won't be so lonely!

Labor Day at the zoo!!!

Jill came home for Labor Day and Shauna and Ethan and Halle came for the week! We all went to the zoo, but of course, I only have Jill's pictures! Halle loved the merry-go-round. Ethan is getting big - he's over 14 pounds now. He is smiling and cooing. Halle is a terror, but she is fun and very smart. She helped Jill bake cookies. It looks like Shauna and Adam might have finally sold their house, so we will soon be helping them move into a bigger house in Pocatello. They should close around Oct. 1. We are excited to go to the BYU game on Steve's birthday this year! Happy birthday to Debbie - Sept. 16th!

I know I should have done this a long time ago...Ethan Terry Velasquez was born July 1, 2009. 8lbs, 21 inches long. He is a good baby and he has two mothers - Shauna and Halle.

Ok - here's the other news that's news: Shauna and Adam are buying a new house - still in Pocatello, but bigger and nicer. They will have 4 bedrooms, a 2 car garage - it will be heaven on earth! My mom and dad are going to sell their home in Yuma this coming fall/winter (hopefully) and are going to give Shauna their furniture - a couple of bedroom sets and a living room set and a dinette set. Jill has had a fun summer here in Boise. She has been active in the singles branch and has made some new friends and has also hung out with some old friends. Nothing too exciting in her love life.... I do need to buy her some life insurance though, because the other day here in Boise, she was caught by the cops hanging out of the window of her friends car. Really, she's a smart girl.... Well that's about it. I'll try to do better, but really, I only think 2 people ever look at this besides me!!!!!

New Room!

Ok - so I know these aren't the greatest pictures, but for those of you who have been to my house, I've had this room with no furniture - ever since we moved in. We bought the George Washington picture a couple of years ago, and now have bought furniture and decorated that room. I'm especially proud of the fake flower arrangement that I put together myself. A real accomplishment for non-crafty, me.....

Road Trip!

Jill and I decided to jump in the car last week and take a road trip to California! We went to the beach and to Sea World and had a good time visiting my parents and seeing some old friends. It was a quick trip - over way too soon, but I missed my hubby, so it was good to get home again!

The Girls Come Home!

My girls were all home last weekend! Here is a picture of Jill and Halle peeking in the ovens to see what's cookin'. And the other picture is of my crib all put togeter and my cute crib set - isn't it awesome?

Halle Turns Two!

Halle turned 2 last week! We had a great party - she loved it! She also found out she is going to get a little brother!

Meet Zoe

Alright, alright! For those thousands of you clamoring for a new post - here it is! These are pictures of Jill and her roommate Zoe. Last I heard, Zoe was going to come spend the summer with us in Boise. I hope she doesn't mind a crib in her room! I am so excited to have a crib at my house! I bought an awsome crib and mattress on Craigslist for $100! I will post some pictures of it after I get it all set up! Also, for those of you who might not know - we are expecting another grandbaby. Shauna is supposed to find out tomorrow whether it is a girl or a boy!

We went to Dammeron Valley to spend Christmas with Steve's mom and dad this year. This is Jill at the Dinosaur Tracks Museum in St. George. We had a really nice time. We visited with Steve's grandma Terry and my aunt Teora in St. George. We also saw a couple of movies and just had a relaxing time! Jill is back at school now and things are very quiet around our house!
